The Studio, Overnight Accommodations and the Farm

Tools / Equipment / Materials available:

  • Four Speedball Mud Boss wheels. Each cabin gets a dedicated wheel/work-station to use within the studio that is assigned for the stay.
  • 1 horsepower Brent XC wheel
  • Wood/plastic bats, ware boards with dry shelves, and sink/rinse station in the studio.
  • One Randall kick wheel
  • 24-inch wide slab roller
  • Wedging stations for up to 4 people with various tools and banding wheels. Inquire on building your own wedging table while onsite to transport back to your home studio.
  • Vintage Shimpo electric wheel with plate/bowl jig system.
  • Raku LP gas kiln for firing to 1850 degrees F.
  • Electric kiln 24-inch diameter round by 18 inch deep for bisque firing up to cone 6 with Bartlett controller.
  • Electric Cone Art kiln -oval 33-inch diameter by 22 inch deep for mid or high temperature firing with Bartlett controller.
  • Pug mill to reclaim clay.
  • Bring your favorite carving tools and ribs! (We can make custom hardwood ribs during your stay)
  • Two ‘house’ clays will be available onsite:
  • Multiple firing and glazing options available- your pieces may need to be fired by the owner and shipped or picked up on a future visit (we’ll get it done for you!!)

Dining during your stay

During your stay, you'll have access to our fully equipped kitchen, where you can prepare your own meals. We exclusively provide clay dishes, all handcrafted on-site.

You have a mini-fridge/freezer in your cabin, however, the kitchen also has a large fridge/freezer for your use (shared with other guests).

The pantry and drinks fridge! We have a packed dry goods pantry and refrigerator full of drinks for your stay. Bottled water is provided for guests for drinking and cooking.

Coffee and tea are essential to life, so we have several options for you to have unlimited coffee/tea while you stay. Coffee is purchased from a local roaster.

We’ve partnered with various local restaurants who will cater lunches or dinners during your stay and upon making a multi-day reservation, we will contact you to discuss whether you plan to prepare your meals or would like to arrange catered options.

Cabins

We have plenty of parking for guests.

Main community cabin 12 x 20 ft with loft is common space for meals, lounging, reading, snacking, napping, chatting, rock painting, game playing and general rejuvenating.

Guest cabin No. 1

12 x 12 ft with red cedar interior and multiple windows facing east. Sleep on a queen bed with a small loveseat, table for two and a refrigerator. Linens and two pillows provided. Guests must bring bath towels. Contains a refrigerator, A/C and heat.

Guest cabin No. 2

12 x 20 ft with red cedar interior with multiple north and east facing windows. Sleeps two on a queen bed with a loveseat, chair and mini-refrigerator/freezer, A/C and heat.

Bath house

Two private baths are available in our dedicated bath house for guests to take hot or cold showers and refresh anytime. An outdoor cool water shower is also available if you’d like to recharge and cool off.

Soak tubs

Schedule a cold water soak in one of our vintage clawfoot tubs! Water will be brought in from a local groundwater spring source, so this must be requested/scheduled. Perfection on a hot day, soak in your tub and relax with a glass of your favorite beverage while watching the day slowly phase to a dreamy night.

Sweat!

We have a wood fired sauna for guest use.

We have a community firepit for summer evenings (if not too windy!)
